What Ganttmatic is

Ganttmatic is an Editor add-on for Google Sheets. When you open it in a spreadsheet, it reads and writes six tabs in that spreadsheet (Initiatives, Tasks, Resources, Assignments, Vacations and Settings) and shows them as a Gantt chart. It runs inside Google Sheets, as you, with your own Google permissions.

The permissions Ganttmatic asks for

Google asks you to approve these when you install Ganttmatic. It requests exactly two OAuth scopes and nothing else:

View and manage the spreadsheet it is installed in. Ganttmatic uses this to read and write its six tabs in the spreadsheet you have open, and to add a missing tab or column when it sets the sheet up. This permission covers only that spreadsheet. It gives no access to any other spreadsheet or file.

Show its menu and dialogs inside Google Sheets. Ganttmatic uses this to add its menu under Extensions and to open the Ganttmatic window and its dialogs over your sheet.

Ganttmatic does not ask for any Google Drive permission, so it cannot list, open, create, copy or delete your files. It does not ask for your email address or profile.

What happens to your data

• Your roadmap data never leaves your spreadsheet. Everything you plan in Ganttmatic is stored in the six tabs of your own spreadsheet, in your Google account, and nowhere else.
• No copy is stored. Ganttmatic has no server of its own and no database. Mobilestudio never receives, sees or keeps a copy of your data.
• Nothing is sent anywhere. Ganttmatic talks only to your spreadsheet, through Google Sheets. It sends nothing to Mobilestudio or to anyone else.
• No analytics, no tracking. Ganttmatic contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
• Nothing is stored in your Google account outside the spreadsheet. Ganttmatic doesn’t save settings in Google’s add-on storage (Apps Script properties).

Anyone you share the spreadsheet with through Google Sheets can see the plan, the same as any other content in that sheet. Who can see it is decided by you and your sheet’s sharing settings, not by Ganttmatic.

What is kept on your device

Ganttmatic remembers two layout preferences: which columns you show and how wide the panes are. These are kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They contain no roadmap data, they are never sent anywhere, and you can remove them by clearing your browser’s site data.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Ganttmatic's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Ganttmatic does not transfer information received from Google APIs to any other app, and does not use it for advertising.

This website

ganttmatic.com sets no cookies and runs no scripts, analytics or tracking. It loads no fonts or files from any other site.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare’s privacy policy), which may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and secure its service. Mobilestudio does not use those logs.

If you email us

If you write to support@ganttmatic.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use it to reply to you. Please don’t send your plan’s data.

Your choices

• To stop Ganttmatic using a spreadsheet, delete its six tabs. Nothing else was added.
• You can uninstall Ganttmatic from Google Sheets at any time, and remove its access from your Google Account’s third-party access page.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. If Ganttmatic ever needs a permission it doesn’t have today, Google will ask you to approve it before Ganttmatic can use it.
